More ways to use this setup

Boxing & kickboxing

Separate open basics sessions from technique training. A free introduction can use the same course capacity as the regular offer.

Brazilian jiu-jitsu & MMA

For advanced groups, approve the appropriate option after a personal check. Belt examinations and competition management are outside this example.

Adult martial arts clubs

The same approach suits bookable adult club sessions. Training bookings do not manage club membership or governing-body administration.

What your offer needs

Make trying it easy

A first visit needs a straightforward booking path while still counting as a regular course place.

Give regulars a clear option

Regular participants need a suitable option for basics sessions and a clear visit allowance.

Account for experience

For more demanding training groups, you personally decide who has the required experience.

Variations and important distinctions

Approval and booking are separate

Approval grants access to the booking option. A place is secured only by the subsequent purchase and confirmed booking of an available session.

Book each session deliberately

Each recurring session is booked separately. A subscription or punch card is valid only for assigned courses and does not replace a place booking. This setup does not sell the entire teaching series as a package.

Questions about this example

Does a trial count towards capacity?

Yes. It occupies one of the 16 places in the basics session, even though booking is free.

Does the subscription cover every course?

No. Assign it explicitly to suitable courses. Here it covers basics training, not automatically the advanced group.

Does approval secure a place?

Approval grants access to the booking option. A place is secured only by the subsequent purchase and confirmed booking of an available session.
