Booking software for personal training

Offer training at the times you choose. An individual session has one place, a small group several. Separate options make it clear what clients book and where their subscription applies.

More ways to use this setup

Independent personal trainers

Offer specific individual sessions with a clear duration and meeting point. Plan your availability yourself before making sessions bookable.

Small-group training

A group of four creates a distinct offer for shared training goals. A subscription visit limit and individual course capacity control different things.

01 / What your offer needs

What your offer needs

Offer specific individual times

A bookable individual session should admit exactly one person and fit your own planned training schedule.

Set appropriate subscription limits

Four monthly visits in the group subscription clarify its scope without reserving places in advance.

Assign options clearly

Clients should see which option applies to individual training and which to small groups.

Four steps to your setup

  1. Set up the provider and context

State the training location and preparation instructions.

  2. Create suitable booking options

Create a single booking for 1:1 and a four-visits-per-month subscription for the small group.

  3. Create courses and sessions

Schedule individual sessions with one place and groups with four; assign options explicitly.

  4. Check the booking path

Use example data to check that the group subscription is not valid for 1:1 and each visit requires a booking.

Variations and important distinctions

Pre-scheduled individual sessions

One-to-one sessions are course dates you create in advance with one place. You set the time and instructor; available trainer, teacher or room times are not calculated automatically.

Book each session deliberately

Each recurring session is booked separately. A subscription or punch card is valid only for assigned courses and does not replace a place booking. This setup does not sell the entire teaching series as a package.

Questions about this example

Is the subscription also valid for individual training?

Not in this example. It is assigned exclusively to small-group courses. The 1:1 sessions have their own single-booking option.

Does the subscription reserve four fixed sessions?

Each recurring session is booked separately. A subscription or punch card is valid only for assigned courses and does not replace a place booking. This setup does not sell the entire teaching series as a package.

Is there automatic trainer scheduling?
