Setup example · Creative workshops
Let participants book creative workshops in small groups
Whether you teach pottery, painting or another craft, participants should be able to find the right workshop and bring someone along. Plan fixed sessions with deliberately small capacities.
Explore the setupWorkshop and follow-up in the monthly calendar
A calendar screenshot will show the pottery workshop and a separately created glazing session as independent events.
More ways to use this setup
Painting & drawing
An open drawing evening and a technique workshop can each have their own session and booking option. List required materials in the description.
Ceramics, pottery & glass workshops
Limit places to suit workspaces and instruction. Explain materials and collection of finished pieces; this setup does not manage kilns or production stages.
Sewing & crafts
The sewing example uses an advanced option on request and clear material instructions for projects requiring prior skills.
Sewing & craft courses →Photo walks & image reviews
Combine outdoor practice sessions with independently bookable online image reviews.

What your offer needs
Room for everyone
Eight places create a clear limit for each workshop. Every additional person also needs a place.
Attend together
A single-booking option can allow additional people, making a booking for two possible.
Explain follow-up sessions
A glazing session can be offered separately. It is not automatically linked to the pottery workshop.

Variations and important distinctions
Explain materials clearly
Use the course description for preparation and materials to bring. This does not provide inventory or individual workpiece management.
Offer separate sessions deliberately
Pottery and glazing are two independent bookings in this example. A combined purchase, automatic linking or progress tracking is not assumed.
Questions about this example
Can someone book for themselves and a companion?
Yes, if the single-booking option allows additional people and enough places remain. Each person needs their own place.
Is the glazing session automatically included?
Not in this example. It is a separate course with its own booking option and requires a separate booking.
Does courseplanner track finished pottery?
This example covers course and participant bookings. It does not offer workpiece or materials management.
