Connect Apple Calendar or Google Calendar
Add one session or subscribe to a calendar. A download stays unchanged, while a subscription can retrieve later updates.
Check the correct provider, date and, where relevant, the account used to book.
One-time download
Open course or ticket details and choose the iCal file under Calendar entry. Import it into your calendar. It is a snapshot; later changes or cancellations do not update it automatically. Downloading reserves no place.
| Connection | Later changes | Books a place? |
|---|---|---|
| iCal download | No automatic updates | No |
| Calendar subscription | Retrieved by the calendar app; delays possible | No |
Subscribe to a calendar
Open Settings → Calendar subscriptions. Select your confirmed bookings or an eligible location and create the link. Providers can subscribe to their own locations. Keep the link private: anyone holding it can read the calendar.

Subscribe to a calendar
Show calendar subscriptions in settings, selection of confirmed bookings and a prepared transition to the calendar app. Keep the example URL unusable and do not imply instant updates.
Apple Calendar
Use the subscription action or add the URL as a calendar subscription. Choose iCloud if you want it across your Apple devices. Check that you added a subscription rather than only importing one file.

Apple Calendar
Show a prepared Apple Calendar subscription with a sample course. The subscription URL must not grant access.
Google Calendar
Open Google Calendar in a desktop browser and choose Other calendars → From URL. Paste the subscription link. Merely opening Google Calendar does not connect the subscription.

Google Calendar
Show Google Calendar’s add-by-URL view and a prepared result. Do not use a real subscription link.
Replace the link
The complete link is shown only immediately after creation or replacement. Replace a lost link in settings and connect the new one. The old link stops working; also remove the old subscription in your calendar app.
Refresh
Apple and Google decide when to fetch changes. For urgent changes, rely on courseplanner and organizer information. A calendar subscription does not alter bookings or write changes back to courseplanner.
