Photos for courses and locations

Show participants your courses and locations with optional photo galleries.

Development preview: this photo workflow is prepared locally and has not been released.

Before you begin

You need the provider owner account and a saved course or location.

Photos for courses and series

When creating a course, open the “Course photos” step between the description and schedule. The same section is available in course and series settings.

Choose default photos, your own photos or no photos. Custom photos replace the default gallery completely. “Show no photos” also stops inherited images; course details may retain the empty photo area.

If you then create a new recurring series, your selection applies to the entire series. You can later override it in the settings of an individual occurrence. Defaults come first from the series, then the location and finally the shared provider gallery. An explicit “No photos” selection stops inheritance.

Shared photos and locations

Open “Photos for your locations” after setting up your locations or in provider settings. Upload shared photos once and save the gallery.

New and unconfigured locations use shared photos. Changes automatically apply to every location using that gallery and to courses inheriting from them. Existing custom photos and explicit “No photos” selections are not overwritten.

Open a location’s photo selection to use shared images, custom photos or no photos. The preview identifies the effective source. Deleting a location does not delete shared provider photos. An empty gallery is hidden on the provider overview.

Upload and edit photos

Each gallery holds up to five photos. Supported formats are JPG/JPEG, PNG and static WebP, up to 10 MB per file. Convert HEIC and animated images to a supported format first.

Choose a square crop containing at least 50 × 50 original pixels; 1600 × 1600 pixels is recommended. Move and zoom the crop in the dialog. Sources may contain at most 50 million pixels and measure at most 12,000 pixels per side.

Add a short, meaningful description of up to 160 characters to every image. Use “Move earlier” and “Move later” to order photos, or replace and remove individual images. The first photo is shown first. Only upload images you have permission to publish.

Processing removes image metadata. The original is deleted afterward; upload it again if you want a different crop later.

Save and resolve problems

Save each changed gallery with “Save photos”. Displayed images change only after saving is confirmed. If nothing changed, continue directly. Before leaving with pending changes, save them or deliberately discard them.

When replacing custom photos with defaults or no photos, confirm removal of the old custom images when saving. After removing the last custom photo, explicitly select defaults or no photos.

If an upload fails, previously saved images remain available. Retry the upload or choose another image. If the gallery is being edited elsewhere, you can confirm taking over; the other session’s unsaved uploads are discarded.

If saving cannot be confirmed, use “Check save status again” before editing further. If another part of the location step fails, galleries already saved successfully remain saved. An interrupted series setup can be resumed without uploading photos again.
