Why courses and booking options are separate
Combine your courses with suitable single bookings, punch cards and subscriptions. Design offers for particular groups, weekdays or morning courses.

You need access to your provider’s booking options and courses.
Combine courses and offers
A course describes what happens, when and where it takes place, and how many people can attend. A recurring series groups repeated occurrences. A booking option describes the offer participants use to book a suitable occurrence, such as a single booking, punch card or subscription.
Create a booking option once, then select it in the courses that should accept it. One option can belong to several courses. A course can also accept several options, such as single admission, a ten-visit punch card and a monthly subscription.
This lets you offer different rates for the same course and use one subscription across several course series. A subscription is an offer for participants; a recurring series organizes your dates. Acquiring a subscription does not automatically book every occurrence in the series.
Ideas for your offers
The following examples show ways to arrange your course assignments. Define the price, description and any access approval for each offer. Then select it only in the appropriate courses or series.
| Offer | Assign to these courses |
|---|---|
| Offer for a particular group | Courses intended for that group. |
| Offer for specific days or times | Courses on the specified weekdays or at the specified times. |
| Combined offer | Courses that match both the intended group and the specified time window. |
Assignment determines where an option applies
Apply time restrictions by selecting the appropriate courses. The name and description explain the offer; the saved course assignments determine where it applies.
Describe the valid weekdays and time windows clearly and assign the option to the corresponding courses. Include newly created courses and series in your review.
If a series spans several weekdays, check the assignment for each occurrence. Separate series can make offers with specific time windows easier to maintain.
After rescheduling, adding courses or changing a series, check that the assignments still match your offer. Changes to one occurrence and changes to the series have different scopes; check the affected occurrences when saving.
Offers for particular groups
Describe the requirements for your intended participants. If needed, use a booking option that requires an access request so you can review those requirements personally before purchase.
Approval allows the next step; it does not replace acquiring the offer or booking an occurrence. A child subscription names the participating child; it cannot be freely shared between children.
Even with a suitable subscription, participants must book their chosen occurrences individually. Available places, booking deadlines and the applicable usage conditions still matter.
Set up a combination
Start with a clearly described offer, then check both an intended course and an excluded course. This helps you spot accidental assignments.
- Create the booking option with its offer type, price and clear conditions.
- If needed, require an access request, then activate the reviewed offer.
- Open the booking options settings of the appropriate courses or series and select the offer. Leave it unselected in all other courses.
- Save the selection and check the affected occurrences, especially for series spanning several weekdays.
- Review the assignments whenever your course schedule or offer changes.
If an option is missing or appears in the wrong course
First check the saved selection for the specific occurrence and, where applicable, the series. Activation and course assignment are separate steps. A new name or an edited description does not replace assignment.
If the assignment is correct, check the option’s status and access requirements. If saved settings remain inconsistent after reopening, contact support with a short description of the affected offer and course.
